3 Different Ways To Bake Potatoes
Having baked potato in oven is not the only method to get baked potatoes; we’ve discovered several other methods you can bake potato and still enjoy it. Let’s take a look:
Pop it in the Oven
This is the regular baking method and is still always an option when you want your potato to turn out crispy. First, you need to heat up the oven, so turn it on to 350°F. Scour your potato and then stab it once again with a fork; you could also choose to simply cut a slit at the top so that steam is released as it cooks. If you want your baked potato in oven to be crispy, you simply need to set it in the middle rack and let it bake it for at least 90 minutes. If you want it tender, rub it all over with olive oil and sprinkle salt on it, then set it right in the baking dish and bake for at least 60 minutes.
Put Your Air Fryer to Good Use
If you’re on a search for something else to use your air fryer for, this is it. Simply rub the potato skin with olive oil and then poke it all over with a fork. You could sprinkle with salt and add other seasonings if you so desire. Once you do this, simply throw it in the air fryer and leave it to bake at 400° for about 40 minutes. Your potatoes will come out nice and crispy and look like a baked potato in oven with a smooth, creamy interior and a crispy exterior.
Grill it Up
If you’re having a cookout or you’re going camping, this is the best way to add baked potatoes to the menu. First, start by heating up the grill at a medium-high, scour up the potatoes, and boil it up for 5 minutes to fasten the cooking process. You could choose to microwave the spud for two minutes to speed things up. Rub the skin all around with olive oil and add whatever seasoning you want. Now your potato is ready to be grilled. You can wrap it up or unwrap it and place it on the grill, close up the grill, and cook for 15 minutes while occasionally turning it over to make sure all sides are cooked. You can also choose to wrap it twice in thick foil and conceal it inside hot coals to bake for at least 30 minutes.
